Change the world.
Start at home.

A non-denominational church on Rahn Way, five minutes off Cedar Avenue. Sundays at 9 and 11 AM. Walk in as you are — nobody will ask you to stand up.

If it's your first Sunday

Three things people want to know before they walk in.

01

Parking is free and out front

Pull into the lot on Rahn Way. Come in the main doors — someone at the welcome desk will point you the rest of the way. There's no dress code; jeans are the norm.

02

Plan on about 90 minutes

Worship, communion, an offering, then a teaching. Communion is open — anyone present is welcome to take it. Many people stay afterward for prayer.

03

Kids have their own thing

Classes run at both services for birth through 6th grade. Check-in is off the main lobby and every leader has a background check. Register ahead and you'll be through in a minute.

The weekly rhythm

This week at The House

All times Central. The prayer room is open midweek for anyone who wants to sit in a quiet room for an hour — you don't have to sign up or explain yourself.

What we're actually trying to do

Your reach starts where you already are, and widens from there.

Steward your garden

Your marriage, your kids, your street, your desk. The people already in front of you.

  • Invite God into your closest relationships
  • Make your home a place people want to be
  • Start with the neighbor you already wave at

Engage your city

This congregation comes from more than 140 cities across the metro and beyond. Each one needs somebody who's paying attention.

  • Host a small group where you live
  • Find out what your block actually needs
  • Show up for it more than once

Disciple the nations

Pick one country. Pray for it by name, give toward it, and say yes when the door opens.

  • Choose a nation as a family
  • Support missionaries already there
  • Go, when going is the next step

Straight answers

The questions people search before they ask

Denomination, service times, whether we're that kind of church. We'd rather answer plainly than make you dig.

What denomination is The House Church?

None. The House is an independent, non-denominational Christian church — no denominational headquarters, no oversight body above the local elders. Doctrinally it sits in the evangelical and charismatic stream: the Bible as the foundation, open communion, and room for prayer for healing and the prophetic in a normal Sunday service.

Are you part of the "house church movement"?

No. That phrase describes churches that meet only in homes. We're one congregation with a building at 2024 Rahn Way — "The House" is simply the name. We do run small groups that meet in homes, but Sunday is on campus.

What time are services?

Sundays at 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM Central. The 11:00 service is ASL interpreted. Youth meets Wednesdays 6:30–8:30 PM, and the prayer room is open Tuesday through Thursday, 10 AM to 4 PM.
